Delivery

The design and service of Palazzina Wellness are created in Germany – with the highest standards of quality, functionality and timeless design. Our saunas, hot tubs and cold water tubs are produced in the heart of sauna culture, in the north of Europe. From there, the journey of your new wellness product begins, straight to your home.

Our products are made with the greatest care and packed securely so that they arrive with you in perfect condition. Depending on the model, delivery is made as a pre-assembled module or on sturdy pallets. Transport is carried out reliably by freight carrier by truck – delivered to the kerb.

What does delivery to the kerb mean?

The freight carrier brings the goods to the kerb in front of your delivery address. If the truck cannot stop there, it delivers to the nearest point that it can reach safely and lawfully.

Unloading from the vehicle, transport to the installation site and assembly are not part of our delivery. We do not organise unloading by crane or forklift for saunas. You can commission a crane or forklift service on site for this. We will tell you the weight and dimensions of your goods on request before you order.

How long does delivery take?

The delivery time is stated on the respective product page. For most products it is 12–18 weeks from conclusion of contract.

What you need to prepare

• Access: A truck must be able to drive up to your delivery address. Pay attention to width, height (for example branches, cables, gates), tight bends and the load-bearing capacity of the road.
• Unloading point: Plan a level area where the goods can be unloaded.
• Unloading: Arrange a crane, forklift or helpers for the day of delivery.
• Installation site: The subsurface or foundation must suit the product. A compacted gravel base is sufficient in many cases; where necessary, a strip foundation is required. The information in the product description and assembly instructions is decisive.
• Connections: If your product runs on electricity, water or waste water, plan these connections on site. Electrical connections may be made only by a qualified electrician.
• Permits: Whether you need a permit for installation or operation depends on the federal state, municipality, size and location. Please ask your municipality before ordering. We cannot give legal advice.

How delivery works

1. After your order you receive an order confirmation by email.
2. We prepare your order and commission the freight carrier.
3. The freight carrier agrees the delivery date with you. Please give a telephone number at which you can be reached when you order.
4. On the day of delivery, someone must be on site to accept the goods. Please check the delivery straight away for visible damage and note it on the freight carrier’s delivery note.
