Is a sauna heater included in the price?
No. You choose the heater to suit how you will use the sauna: electric heaters from Harvia or HUUM, or a wood-fired heater, optionally fired from outside or from the anteroom. We will give you the surcharges in the quote.
Which wood types are available?
The sauna is available in spruce or thermo wood. Thermal treatment makes thermo wood darker and more dimensionally stable; in the shop you choose the wood type as a variant. The colour of the sauna can also be chosen.
How big is the 300x244 barrel sauna?
Outside 300 × 244 × 229 cm. The sauna room measures 180 × 227 × 206 cm, the anteroom 102 × 227 × 206 cm.
How many people is the sauna for?
The manufacturer does not state a fixed number of people for this model. The decisive factor is the interior size of 180 × 227 × 206 cm – we are happy to advise you.
What do I need to consider with a wood-fired heater in Germany?
In Germany, a wood-fired heater must meet the requirements of the Federal Immission Control Ordinance (BImSchV) and must be registered with and approved by the responsible district chimney sweep before it is first used. Heaters with BImSchV certification are available for this, e.g. Harvia 20 PRO BImSchV or HUUM Hive Wood 13 BImSchV.
